Nothing like star gazing when there is a clear dark sky.
I love the second design!
My quilting idea for these designs is to quilt the outline of the basic pattern of the block regardless of where the colour has been placed in the block. The back of the quilt would look like it had identical pieced stars all over the front.

This project file is based on one fairly complex block, but with some pieces hiding because they are replaced with the background fabric.
Perhaps there are a lot of unknown star signs hiding in these designs.
A very different colour scheme for me, but I like it.
I love rather complex block deigns which give me a chance to eliminate pieces to make blocks which link together to make some intriguing quilt designs.

Interesting!
Setting blocks on point makes the quilt bigger though you have to include some fillers around the edges.
Using some half of some blocks can add some interesting options!
